As a Senior Solar Engineer, you will be instrumental in the success of our solar PV projects! At Youdera, we finance, develop, and operate solar plants tailored for self-consumption in the commercial and industrial segments, ranging from 30 kWp to 4 MW. In this dynamic role, you will leverage your expertise to drive our projects from start to completion. You will interact on a regular basis with our Solar (EPC) Partners to understand what solutions could work for our clients at the highest quality. You will be doing yield analysis before signing EPC contracts, supporting due diligence, conducting quality checks at the end of projects, managing commissioning, and overseeing punch lists. Later you will regularly check the performance of solar plants. We seek a mature, communicative team member with a blend of project management and engineering experience, and a generalist approach.
What you will be doing
- Conduct yield analysis to ensure project viability before signing EPC contracts.
- Provide due diligence support to ensure project feasibility and risk mitigation.
- Oversee commissioning processes and manage punch lists.
- Perform quality checks during installation at the end of projects to ensure standards are met.
- Engage with EPC-partners to discuss project feasibility and optimizations.
- Regular performance checks of existing sites.
Workplace
This dynamic role is based in either Zaragoza, Madrid or Barcelona, with approximately 50% of your time spent in the office and 20% of your time you will travel to project sites for technical visits and quality checks.
Who are we looking for?
- University Engineering background.
- 4+ years of experience in the solar industry, preferably in C&I selfconsumption.
- You´re a good communicator and you can build and manage relationships with stakeholders.
- You speak fluent Spanish and you're at least conversational in English.
- You have a proactive and positive attitude, with a solution-oriented mindset.
