Inside Sales Specialist (Portugal)

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our growing team. This role is based in Portugal and requires a native or fluent Swiss German speaker. You will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities by actively engaging with potential clients in Switzerland.

You will play a critical role in the sales process by researching leads, initiating conversations, and setting up meetings for the sales team. What you will be doing:
  • Generate leads by ​identifying and researching potential clients in the commercial and industrial sectors for self-consumption energy projects.
  • Initiate contact with prospects through cold calls, emails, and social media to introduce our energy solutions.
  • Conduct initial qualification calls to understand the needs and challenges of potential clients and determine fit for our services.
  • Schedule meetings and demonstrations for the sales and operations team with qualified leads.
  • Maintain communication with leads and nurture relationships to move them through the sales pipeline.
  • Track all activities and interactions with prospects in the CRM system (we work with Salesforce), ensuring data accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Work closely with the Head of Origination and Marketing team to develop strategies for engaging and converting leads.
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to help improve our products and sales processes.

Who are we looking for?
  • Previous experience in inside/internal sales, customer success, account management or similar role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Swiss German and English, with the ability to effectively engage and persuade decision-makers. Knowledge of French or Bilingual is of advantage. 
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and lead generation platforms.
  • Comfortable using digital tools for outreach, communication, and research.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Pick up the phone mentality: you are not afraid to get the conversation started.
Workplace

This role is based in Lisbon. We have a hybrid working model where we come 2-3 days per week to the office. You will be travelling to Switzerland occasionally.
