At Youdera, we are on a mission to make European businesses energy resilient. In the current world, companies have to be prepared for a future that is difficult to predict. We provide distributed energy solutions (Solar PV, BESS, Roof renovation, Monitoring and Maintenance services) in the b2b self consumption space, meaning businesses can use the energy they generate right on-site. This way, we help businesses to take control of their energy future.
So far, we’ve grown mainly through a partner-led model (our trusted solar partners). That’s worked well, but now we’re stepping things up. We’re building a stronger direct-to-customer sales engine to accelerate our pipeline and take more ownership of customer relationships.
That’s where you come in.
As a Solar Engineer, you'll play an important role in designing, analyzing, and ensuring the quality of our solar PV projects. We address solar projects in the commercial and industrial segments, ranging from 30 kW up to 4 MW. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed 3D PVSol and K2 reports, pricing files, and electrical schemas during the sales phase. You'll analyze consumption patterns and customer behavior to optimize self-consumption calculations and tailor project designs to meet specific tender requirements. Additionally, you'll review project documentation to ensure compliance with standards, support Solar Partners during execution and operational phases, and maintain project status updates in various systems.

Who are we looking for?
● University Degree (BSc or MSc) in Electrotechnical Engineering or Renewable Energies;
● 4+ years of work experience in the Solar PV industry, preferably you have already some work experience in the commercial & industrial segments;
● You have a strong background in solar project design and analysis, including proficiency with 3D PVSol and K2 reporting, creating detailed pricing files, and electrical schemas.
● You have a ´pick up the phone´ mindset, you're proactive and a problem solver.
● Strong attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to review project documentation for compliance and support project managers during the execution and operational phases.
● Proficiency in English and Spanish.
Workplace
This is a dynamic role with workplace in Porto. You will be spending +/- 50% of your time in our office and you will be frequently traveling to projects for technical visits and quality checks.
